SIGE is an Integrated School Management System to support the School Board in many of their duties, in providing security and rendering data management easier. SIGE is based on multi-purpose card. This card is the students’ ID card; controls access to the school campuses and buildings; and can be used to buy goods and services, such as meals at the cafeteria. Cash circulation is eliminated and security is improved. Optional add-ons can provide seamless and efficient connection to vending and photocopying machines. In addition, parents can access information about the students, either locally or remotely, through the Web.
